6 Months Old

Happy 1/2 Birthday sweet baby girl! I can't believe it has already been 6 months! Annistyn has grown so much! This picture is just minutes after Annistyn was born.

Don't we all wish we were this flexible? Just to see how much Annistyn has grown each month, here she is at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 months.



It's amazing to be able to watch how much Annistyn grows each day!

Since school has been out, Annistyn has been missing her Mama Karen! This morning, Josh and I took her out to spend the day with Mama Karen. Annistyn got so excited as soon as we walked in the door. We feel extremely blessed to have Karen in our lives. I do not know what I would have done without her when I had to go back to work.

While Annistyn was gone, Josh and I got so much needed work around the house finished. We got the entire inside cleaned and weeds pulled outside. If you would have seen how many weeds we had growing in our landscape, you would definitely understand why this took almost all day! It was a very productive day!

Annistyn, this is what you are up to at 6 months old:

• You go to bed between 6:30 and 7:30 every night and will sleep for 12 hours.
• You take 2-3 naps each day. Your naps range anywhere from 1-3 hours.
• You still take your paci, but only when you sleep.
• Your biggest smiles of the day come when I come in your room in the mornings to get you out of bed, and when your daddy comes home from work.
• The only person you have reached for so far is your daddy (and Kayli's dog Daisy).
• You love your daddy more than anything! You think he is so funny (don't tell him, but I think so too)!
• You have been eating rice cereal for about 2 weeks now and love it. We are planning on trying green beans tomorrow.
• You weigh around 16 lbs (we will know for sure next week when you go to the doctor).
• You can sit up for a short period of time on your own using your hands to help prop you up.
• You love to bounce in your "jumparoo" and swing on your swingset outside.
• You have been in Grandmama and Granddaddy's swimming pool a couple times now and love it. You get so excited and kick your feet (you do the same in the bath tub).
• You love to watch "Praise Baby" and usually watch it while I cook supper each night.
• You are such a happy baby and have made your daddy and my lives so much better. We love every minute we get to spend with you. We think you are the funniest thing ever. We pray you continue to be so happy and loving!
