Trick or Treat

Annistyn went trick or treating for the first time! She was so stinkin' cute, if I do say so myself. She dressed up as Minnie Mouse. Renee Bouldin's mom made Annistyn's Minnie Mouse hat. I made the bow to go on her hat and her little tutu. It was a super easy and cheap costume, but I LOVED it!

Here are some pictures of Miss Minnie Mouse with her Mama and Daddy!

Our first stop was to Grandmama's and Granddaddy's. They gave Annistyn some yogurt melts.

Our next stop was to Pet and PopPop's. I forgot my camera on this stop, but Annistyn got a treat bag full of Ritz crackers...her favorite!

Finally, we went to Nana and Pa's. They had some fruit snacks for Annistyn! She racked up with snacks.

M.I.A.

So I have been M.I.A. recently! I feel like I'm on the go constantly. What little time I do have at home, I spend playing with Priss. After she goes to bed, I am either doing things around the house, doing homework, or just trying to catch my breath.

Josh has been in Georgia all week for work. He ended up coming home a day early, and Annistyn and I were both so excited to see him. We miss him terribly when he's gone!

Annistyn's top teeth are coming in, but not the middle two. It is the two that are beside that. I decided she is going to look like a vampire or a hillbilly. If you look closely, you can see them starting to peek through.

This morning, while I was trying to pack Annistyn's lunch, she discovered how to open the kitchen cabinets. I looked at her, and she had opened one of the cabinets and was pulling out all of the tupperware. The fun has just begun!

Fall Break

I was out of school for Fall Break on Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Annistyn and I enjoyed spending the days playing! On Thursday, I had to go to class at Tech, so Annistyn got to go to Nana's work and play.

On Friday, Annistyn had a first! She pulled up by herself for the first time. It was on the dishwasher door! She was just trying to help do the dishes.

Saturday was spend watching football. This is how Annistyn wanted to watch the game with her daddy!

After church on Sunday, Josh, Annistyn, and I went to lunch at El Tap! Annistyn decided she didn't want to look at the camera. She was too busy looking at her favorite person, her daddy!

Today, Annistyn busted her lip for the 1st time. Apparently she inherited my clumsy gene. She was crawling across the living room and just did a nose dive. Her little top lip was swollen, but it didn't stay that way for long.

Lyza Collins Wilhite

My good friend Leah had her baby today. Sweet Lyza Collins Wilhite was born this morning weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces.

I can't wait to meet her! I hope she and Annistyn will be big friends one day!

After church today, Josh, Annistyn, and I decided to go to Cookeville. We went to Arby's for lunch. YUM! Curly fries!

This picture was taken right before Annistyn decided she wanted to eat all the curly fries! She thought they were pretty yummy too.

We made our rounds and did a little shopping. Annistyn was so good, even though she hadn't had a nap. When she's in her stroller, she likes to prop her feet up on the tray. I tried telling her that wasn't very lady-like, but she didn't seem to care!

All the shopping wore this little girl out. She fell asleep as soon as she got in the car and then slept for 2 more hours after we got home.

Annistyn has started mocking her daddy this weekend. When he sits in the recliner, he puts his hands behind her bed. Everytime Annistyn looks at him while he's doing this, she puts her arms behind her head too and just smiles so big. It's hilarious. The first time she did it, Josh and I laughed uncontrollably!

Family Day

Josh, Annistyn, and I spent the entire day together today. While Annistyn took her morning nap, Josh and I picked up a little around the house. When she woke up, we fed her a quick lunch, then we went to Sonic for lunch for me and Josh. After that, we parked at Grandmama's and Granddaddy's and walked downtown for the Liberty Square Celebration. We ran into Grandmama and Pet while we were there. It was crowded and very hot. We walked around once then decided it was time to go. Annistyn was just too hot. Josh and I were too. We then made a family outing to Walmart before coming back home for Annistyn to nap.

When Annistyn woke up from her afternoon nap, we all went outside to play. Annistyn loved swinging. She especially loved her daddy pushing her. She would just laugh and laugh everytime Josh pushed her!

Annistyn LOVES her daddy like crazy! She says "Daddy!" about a thousand times a day!

Annistyn is trying very hard to pull up! She wants to be standing and walking on her own very badly. She's just not there yet.

All that hard work calls for a big bottle of water!

Covergirl

Annistyn made the front page of The Expositor yesterday.

Karen said Tim has been calling her Covergirl. So cute!

We have had a busy week this week. We started mixing a little whole milk in with Annistyn's bottles. Last weekend, she absolutely refused to drink a bottle. She had like 2-3 ounces all day. I tried every bottle and every sippy cup we had. She just would not drink it. We decided she was telling us it was time for some whole milk. Sure enough, we added some whole milk to her bottle, and she drank it all. She has done really well all week with it.

Annistyn's new favotire thing to do is drag her Bitty Baby under her high chair and play. She will drag her under there, sit up, and just pat and pat her baby. She is so stinkin' sweet!

Annistyn had her 1st crawling accident this week. She decided to crawl out the front door at her Mama Karen's house. I guess she just wanted a little fresh air! Ha! I know it definitely won't be her last "boo-boo"! She has a little bruise on her forehead.

Here are some pictures from supper tonight. Annistyn LOVES sweet potato fries and peas! I don't think there are many foods she doesn't like! I'm so glad she isn't a picky eater like her daddy!

After supper tonight, I got Annistyn all cleaned up and changed her clothes. We were all going to go to the football game. I went to change my clothes, and then Annistyn decided to tell me how she felt about going to the game. She decided she was too tired to go out tonight. I ended up staying home and putting Annistyn to bed. Maybe another time.

Basketball Practice

My professor has the stomach virus, so my Wednesday night class was cancelled. I got to stay home and play with Miss Priss! Then, Annistyn got to come with me to basketball practice. This was her first time to come to practice. She got so excited when the girls were dribbling the basketballs. She loved it. When the girls were doing their shooting drills, and no longer paying attention to Annistyn, she would scream to get their attention. It was so funny. Here she is watching the girls.

10 Months Old...A Day Late

I guess it's better late than never! We went to Grandmama's and Granddaddy's house to get our Christmas pictures made today. I know, a little early! We had such a busy day, that I didn't have time to get Annistyn's 10 month post on the blog. It will just have to be a day late!

Here are some of the best pictures I could get with Annistyn and the 10 month sign. She would not let is sit beside her. She had to hold it!

And, just to prove she's my child...

I have a problem with blinking everytime a picture is taken. Annistyn may have the same problem!

Annistyn, what are you up to at 10 months?
  • You are wearing mostly size 9 months clothes.
  • You wear size 3 diapers.
  • You still sleep 12 hours every night and take 2 naps each day.
  • You are crawling everywhere, and you LOVE to find cords.
  • You can say mama, daddy, and bye bye.
  • You give kisses by saying, "Mmm ah!" It's so sweet!
  • You still love Mickey Mouse. We usually watch him while you eat breakfast. I really thought you said Mickey the other day.
  • You love to play with your Bitty Baby. You just hold her and pat her. It's the sweetest thing ever!
  • You love for your daddy to throw you in the air. You just giggle and giggle! It's so funny.
  • You still just have 2 teeth on the bottom.

We love you more than anything, and you bring so much joy to our lives!
