Larkin Lawrence Taylor

My good friends from college had their first baby today. Happy Birthday to Larkin Lawrence Taylor. He arrived at 8:03 weighing 7 lbs 9 oz. Congratulations Tessa and Phillip! Annistyn can't wait to meet her new friend!

Today was pretty uneventful for us. After swimming lessons this morning, Annistyn took a nap, while I enjoyed some time by the pool. Then we came home to spend some time with Josh. He was still working in his garage today, so we just sat around and talked to him while he cleaned.

Annistyn took a really late nap. I tried to keep her up, but she just couldn't hold her eyes open anymore. She went to sleep at 4:45, and I woke her up at 7:30. She ate her supper and was ready for bed again at 8:30.

She has also learned a new consonant sound. She already makes sounds using the "m" sound. Now she has started using the "b" sound. It sounds just like she is saying bye bye, but she says it over and over again. It's so cute! She is definitely going to be a talker!

I didn't get any pictures today. We were pretty boring, but I will try to take some more tomorrow.
